Using a worldwide acclaimed securities trading simulation, participants will have the opportunity to be active in a dealing room environment. A full day of trading is simulated in a two hour session, where students trade against each other and fictive market players in a virtual dealing room. Participants must show market awareness by following the market movements and the news and set a strategy for their trading. At the same time, they will have to answer calls from clients and give quotes.
The top students from each university will compete in the final at SGX on Friday October 16, for cash prizes of up to $2,000 and internships, courtesy of Barclays Capital.
